Greg Wilson

A member of the Newcastle legal fraternity since 1991, Greg has broad experience and extensive knowledge across a number of different jurisdictions. He enjoys a reputation as one of the region’s best known and highly respected legal practitioners, with his practise including all types of litigation and transactional services.

An active community member for all of his life, Greg has extended his love of sport from the playing field in his earlier days to the administration area in a range of sports.

He has held administrative roles, including positions on the Board, as honorary solicitor and as a member of various judiciaries, with several sporting and community organisations including Newcastle District Cricket Association, Newcastle Rugby League and Northern New South Wales Football Federation.

Currently, Greg holds the position of Chairman of Appeals and honorary solicitor with Newcastle & Hunter Rugby Union and Chairman of Judiciary with Newcastle Junior Rugby Union.

Greg is also a member of various community and professional organisations including The Law Society of NSW, Newcastle Law Society, Newcastle Golf Club, Newcastle Jockey Club, Hawthorne Club (Rugby Union), Beauford Club (Horse racing), de Courcy Club (Cricket) as well as the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Sonia Bowditch

With over 40 years of experience across a broad range of legal secretarial and administration duties, Sonia Bowditch is Wilson & Co Lawyers’ office manager and administrator, taking responsibility for all day-to-day aspects of the practice.

Sonia began her legal secretarial career in 1980 with a large Newcastle firm, involving a diverse range of clients and legal services.

Sonia and Greg have worked together since 1991, joining Wilson & Co Lawyers in 2006 at The Junction.

Sonia has also been a Justice of the Peace since 2006 and is readily available to assist clients and other members of the community with witnessing legal documents when required.
